The inaugural meeting of TAWS was held at the 48th Australian National Square Dance Convention in Adelaide in June 2007. Today, close to 300 members of TAWS receive regular emails regarding square dance and related TAWS activities.

TAWS aims to provide an opportunity for those interested in both square dancing and travelling to combine these two activities for mutual enjoyment. Should you require any specific information about TAWS, please contact your representative.

Membership of TAWS is open to everyone in square dancing and travelling. There is no fee to join TAWS. Provide your name and email address to a representative and you will be added to our email list. All emails are transmitted using Blind Carbon Copy - (Bcc) so that your privacy is preserved at all times.


The TAWS diary is published on our website www.taws.info and on the Android app "taws". It is updated regularly from information supplied by clubs around Australia. If your club special events are not currently included, please ask your club leader to consider sending the information to a representative for inclusion.
